ADR Hazard Warning Labels > Environmentally Hazardous Substance Labels

The IMDG Code implemented the Environmentally Hazardous Substance Label on the 1st January 2009 and became mandatory on the 1st January 2010.

The Environmentally Hazardous Substance label is used to notify shippers and transporters to identify the contents contained. This label will alert personnel the liquid or solid substances contained inside may be dangerous to the environment.

The "Dead Fish" and "Dead Tree" icons are part of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). From domestic to international shipments, this precautionary label conforms to IMO / IMDG regulations for shipments by ocean. Labels are available in the sizes 100mm x 100mm and 250 x 250mm and are laminated and produced on a Polypropylene material. The base material we use conforms with B.S 5609:1986 which is perfect for transport by Road, Rail, Air and Sea.
